the frankfurt book fair invited young
designers to enter a competition to design a special poster to welcome indonesia, the
2015 guest of honour, to germany.

indonesia is a diverse country with more than 17.000 islands, different ethnic groups, cultures and religions. it is also very traditional and colourful.

inspired by the tonality, i chose traditional indonesian symbols and put them into
a colourful graphic.
